The Government of India has entrusted NIOS with the responsibility of conducting public examinations and issuing Secondary and Senior Secondary level certificates comparable to those issued by any other Board.

NIOS is one of three national boards, with C.B.S.E. and I.C.S.E. being the other two. Provisional certificates, migration cum transfer certificates, and passing certificates will be granted to successful learners in Stream 1st (Block I) of the NIOS Board Mark sheet in the year 2021.

Why should you apply for NIOS enrollment?

In India, many students excel in one subject but struggle in another. For example, students may have good learning skills and enjoy learning and reading, but they may not enjoy doing calculations.

So they consistently receive good grades in learning subjects such as English, Social Science, and so on, but fail in mathematics in the final exam. In the NIOS Board, you can sit for a few courses in the first half of the year and the rest in the second half.
