It is one of the largest open schooling systems in the world. The National Open School was established in the year 1989 as an <a href=\"https:\/\/toppersmantra.com\/\">autonomous body<\/a> by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.<\/p>\n<p>The motive of Nios is to impart Education in the students. Who wish to study but somehow couldn\u2019t make it to. Or students who couldn\u2019t manage to go to school daily because of any reason. While Nios has also taken an initiative to make jail inmates study. For this purpose, they have set up study center across different parts of the country. Currently they have twenty &#8211; two regional centers, two sub-regional center, two Nios cells, even more than seven thousand Accredited Institutions (AIs) and Accredited Vocational Institutions (AVIs).<\/p>\n<p>They offer flexible ways through which students can complete their secondary, senior secondary and vocational courses. It is most suitable for students who wish to prepare for some competitive exam. As they can leave their regular school after 10th class and can prepare well for that exam. They open admissions twice in a year. If you thought that you can\u2019t give all the papers together then. Block 1 admissions are closed now and NIOS has started admission in class 10<sup>th<\/sup> and 12<sup>th<\/sup> for block 2 October 2020 exams. The last date for admission is January 31, 2020. But you can apply for admission until March 15 with the late fee.
